Hi
Today I would like to talk about a park I visited.
I went to Singapore in summer of 2016 and stayed there for
about three months I went with my mom (but she left three weeks later) because
her best friend lives there and has a daughter that I’m really close to. We
stayed at her house, which was really nice. We visited every place there and
eat the local food. There is a fruit called Durian that smells very bad, it is
actually prohibited in some places because of its odor. Singapore is a place that’s
very hot and humid at the same time so in every place there was an air
conditioner, especially at the cinema, it was very cold and you had to bring a
hoddie or jacket.
One time I went out
to explore the city and I got lost but it’s very safe there so I keep walking
until I found a train station where I could go back to where I was staying.
I visited a park that was called ”Gardens by the bay”. It
has artificial tall trees that light up in the night and have music, we went in
December so de music was obviously Christmas themed. We had to pay like 5
dollars each to go up and it was totally worth it because the view was
beautiful although I’m afraid of heights. We stayed until it was dark so we
could watch the trees with light and music.
I really enjoyed that park because it was very different from the parks that I had visit and I was very lucky to be invited there.
How great you could travel with your mother!! I think there is not betther experience than that :)
