Hi guys, today I am going to talk about an experiment my brother and I did.

On the weekend, my brother and I, were craving ice cream and we came up with the idea of doing homemade ice cream. We looked up for the recipe and we needed only 5 simple ingredients; cream, milk, ice, salt and a flavor of your choice. I had a couple of Oreos so we made a cookies & cream ice cream.

We put half cream half milk on a bowl and then vanilla flavor and mix it. Then we punt ice cubes and salt on a bag and fill another bag with our ice cream mixture: closed it and put it inside of the iced one. We shake it for five minutes and we were very impressed when we opened the bag to find out that it worked and we had homemade ice cream. My brother put some already chopped Oreos and we ate it. It was delicious so we are planning on doing more with different flavors.

Although our mom got mad because we used the remaining salt to make or little experiment. She loved it and we had fun making it but we had to go buy some more salt.

Hi guys, today I’m going to talk about the national holiday.

I like the “18 de Septiembre” because that means we have a couple of days to rest and eat traditional foods (it’s not like I don’t eat these foods when it is not September), so my mom makes really good empanadas for these special days. I also like the cuecas and the happiness that people feel around these days.
What I don’t like about this holiday is that people produce too much trash, especially on the fondas, and eat too much meat (excessively). Another thing that I really despite is the accidents that people cause when they are not responsible with alcohol.

This year I move to Santiago so I get to travel to Puerto Montt where all my family is (I’m writing this blog while I’m on the bus). I looked up the time and it was gonna rain all week but that doesn’t stop us for having a good time and enjoy the holidays. I’m excited to go back and be with my family and pets. I’m also planning on meeting up with my friends that live in Puerto Montt and going to the cinema with my dad to watch ”It chapter II”.

I hope all of you have an amazing 18 de septiembre :)

Hi
Today I would like to talk about a park I visited.
I went to Singapore in summer of 2016 and stayed there for about three months I went with my mom (but she left three weeks later) because her best friend lives there and has a daughter that I’m really close to. We stayed at her house, which was really nice. We visited every place there and eat the local food. There is a fruit called Durian that smells very bad, it is actually prohibited in some places because of its odor. Singapore is a place that’s very hot and humid at the same time so in every place there was an air conditioner, especially at the cinema, it was very cold and you had to bring a hoddie or jacket.
One time I went out to explore the city and I got lost but it’s very safe there so I keep walking until I found a train station where I could go back to where I was staying.
I visited a park that was called ”Gardens by the bay”. It has artificial tall trees that light up in the night and have music, we went in December so de music was obviously Christmas themed. We had to pay like 5 dollars each to go up and it was totally worth it because the view was beautiful although I’m afraid of heights. We stayed until it was dark so we could watch the trees with light and music.

I really enjoyed that park because it was very different from the parks that I had visit and I was very lucky to be invited there.
